One of our bestsellers! Keep bread fresh without all the plastic.

Our beeswax bread bags are perfect for storing all of your baking.  They are natural, non-toxic, reusable, biodegradable and help keep food fresh longer. A simple, plastic free way to store food.

XL 12 x 15" will fit a large loaf or sourdough. Also great for produce and fruits. Will look like a classic paper lunch bag.

How to use:

Place completely cooled bread in the bag and loosely fold over the top. Store in cool dry place. Shake out crumbs when done and wash as needed with cold water. Your bag should not need frequent washing for breads.

Before using, make sure your bread or baking is completely cool. Condensation from heat can create a mold friendly environment and ruin the wax coating on your bag.

Looking Forward

Have not use the bread bag as of yet but looking forward to it. The quality was evident from the moment I took it from the box! Great size and thickness/wax.
I will be ordering again!

I was under the impression that the bag would preserve the bread a few days unrefridgerated. 2 days on the counter in the bag and it was completely molded. Next time I put bag in refrigerator and it was still good 5 days later

Thanks for your feedback Betty. I'm sorry your loaf did not keep well in the bag unrefridgerated. This is definitely not usual and you should not need to refridgerate your bread. If you are storing homemade breads without preservatives, it's essential to make sure your bread is completely cool before storing as condensation would create a more 'mold friendly' environment. Moisture is usually the culprit for food molding quickly:)

Best hidden secret

Why isn’t waxed bread bags a mainstay of all of our short term bread storage strategies? 1st time using it and my bread had some spring left in in it 5 days later when I used the last of it. The bags are very roomy. I easily it two loaves of artisan bread in one bag
